My name is Jason Potter, and I am a Professor of Legal Writing and Research at the University of San Diego School of Law. Prior to teaching at USD Law, I was a C.V. Starr Lecturer at Peking University School of Transnational Law, in Shenzhen, China, at which I taught legal writing, research, and appellate advocacy.
I am a graduate of New York University School of Law, at which I was the Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Review of Law & Social Change. In connection with my service to the law school community, I was the recipient of the Flora S. & Jacob L. Newman Prize at graduation. I am a member of the State Bar of California.
